Hello Mallorca and Mallorca holidaymakers,
For years I have been traveling all over the world with my good old Africa Twin XRV750 RD04 (a lot in Africa) and currently and for a few years I have driven it exclusively in Mallorca, almost always only in good weather. Now it has to come into new caring hands, I will probably leave Europe and wanted to take the Africa with me, but that will cause problems with customs in my future destination.
That's why I'm selling the good piece, which I have always moved in a species-appropriate way and is in a quite passable condition. It is of course far from "perfect". Many things have been replaced, such as the chain kit, seat and ESC, but of course there is always something to do on a 33-year-old motorcycle. TÜV expired a few years ago, if someone would take them to Germany, he would have to have the TÜV done there.
Mileage almost 99,000 km, twelve-stage heated grips, raised, both headlights always on, luggage lashing eyes made of stainless steel, small Honda top case, very masculine sound due to Leovince special exhaust, always went through the TÜV in Germany and without any problems, at Mallorquin Bikes the motorcycle was completely serviced about 2000 km ago for well over 1000 €, incl. adjust valves, chain kit - replacement.
I was on the island with the Twinny in June and July and it was very enjoyable, absolutely reliable.
But: The Africa has clear signs of use, a few things should be mentioned here: the Tripmaster is not active, it serves me as a mobile phone holder for navigation. The plastic cladding can be refurbished here and there. The brake fluid reservoirs need a skilled hand and new screws or should be replaced, etc
I'll be back on the island from October 17th and on the road with my motorcycle... Location: Palma. Inspection and test drive possible by arrangement and against a deposit.
