Periodically, water boilers are newly purchased, installed and replaced, and load on the scrap. And this is in the periods of 2-3 years. The reason in most cases is the calcareous water and the lack of maintenance of the boiler.
But salt-based descaling systems can also play a role here. These softening systems by means of ion exchange lead to a fundamental change in the corrosion-chemical behavior of the water, whereby the water can have a metal-aggressive effect, as the so-called lime-carbonic acid balance of the tap water is disturbed. This is known as pitting.
There is a way to convert the lime so that it can no longer adhere and the lime-carbonic acid balance of the tap water is not affected. There is no need to open water pipes for installation. The complex system will be installed on top of the existing water pipes.
Of interest not only in the catering industry: glasses from dishwashers no longer have a veil, chrome-plated faucets are no longer damaged by limescale. Existing water pipes regain their original inner diameter, as the deposits gradually dissolve.
